Why Waste Water? (Estonia 5th August -12th August)
This was a youth exchange, which involved 30 young people from 4 different countries, Malta, Ireland, Poland and the hosting country Estonia. The theme of the project was how young people could use water in a reasonable way. The participants had the opportunity to share their culture with each other and establish new friendships. Prior to the youth exchange several preparation meetings were held with the Maltese youth. These meetings focused on learning about water in Malta, preparation of presentations for cultural night and planning of icebreakers. During the exchange the young people worked on different tasks through which they can promote how to reduce water wastage. The resources produced were presented during a children’s summer camp.
