Expression of Interest for Recording Services as part of the Ghanj’Ghalik programme at Agenzija Zghazagh
Agenzija Zghazagh is seeking to identify suitable song recording services which complement the training and mentoring sessions to young people in middle and secondary schools as part of the Ghanj’Ghalik programme which is being organised in collaboration with San Benedittu Secondary School. Recording sessions should occur in February 2020.
 
The Ghanj’Ghalik programme seeks to encourage and inspire young people to express themselves through the medium of the Maltese song. As part of the programme the young participants will be exposed to a wider network of young people who like themselves seek to explore the same medium to communicate their thoughts, hopes and dreams to wider society. Young people participating in the programme have been nominated through their schools. Nominations have been submitted for individual young people and groups of young people who would like to work together. By the end of the training and mentoring sessions, the individual young person or team of young people need to be able to present a song written and composed by the young people.
 
The recording service is meant to continue the investment and education in the young person’s capacity to develop skills in the field. At a later stage of the project the song may be performed as part of a final live production.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Record up to 12 song compositions of the young people participating in the Ghanj’Ghalik programme.
  • Deliver services in accordance with Aġenzija Żgħażagħ’s policies, objectives standards and procedures.
  • Work as part of a team and collaborate with programme management team from Agenzija Zghazagh and Kullegg San Benedittu.
  • Keep attendance and participation a for each young person participating in the programme.
  • Ensure that confidentiality is maintained and that data is protected according to law.
  • Participate in meetings and internal evaluations as necessary.
Selection Criteria:- Criteria and weightings set for the interview are the following: Experience in the field; Knowledge and Suitability about the post including understanding of the role and experience; Abilities and Skills including applied learning, communication skills, team work and leadership skills and Personal Attributes including motivation and commitment; adaptability and flexibility and personality.
 
Rate Per Session:- applicable rate is that of €100.00 per session delivered inclusive of all taxes and no further fees shall be charged for travelling and/or preparation including meetings in relation to the sessions. Payment is effected upon presentation of the fiscal receipt.
 
Expression of Interest letters including a Europass CV, work experience, references and certificate copies of qualifications must be attached to the motivational letter along with police conducts respectively, and are to be submitted by email to maria-carmela.borg@gov.mt  by not later than 15th November 2019 noon.
 
Original certificates and testimonials are to be submitted for verification at the interview.
 
Eligible recording service providers will be interviewed by a selection board to assess their suitability for the post.
 
Aġenzija Żgħażagħ reserves the right to reject any or all submissions associated with this call for an Expression of Interest. Late applications will not be considered.
