AZ@K in St. Margaret's College

Aġenzija Żgħażagħ @ Kottonera commences its sessions in St. Margaret College

Aġenzija Żgħażagħ reaches young people in schools through its regional services within Kottonera (AŻ@K). One of the services is the delivery of programs by Youth Workers within both the Middle school and the Senior School of Bormla.

In order to invest in young people and help them realise their potential, programs are developed so that young people can actively participate, learn, take action and develop their skills and abilities within a school environment.

There are several programs that have started such as Team Building, Building Confidence, Awareness Campaigns, Creativity through Drama, Communication through filming and Duke of Edinburgh Award. As the titles of these programs suggest, AŻ@K Youth Workers carry out these programs to get the best out of young people so that they can put into practice several skills and abilities. Furthermore, as of this year the youth workers are assisting the senior school will the setting up of the student council.

AŻ@K has been very successful in schools throughout the years and thanks to it young people are eager to discover more about Aġenzija Żgħażagħ itself. This year, AŻ@K Youth Workers are working with 104 young people within both schools doing the mentioned programs.
